StrappyArt coils are the perfect fashion necessity disguised as a beautiful jewelry piece to hide bra straps behind spaghetti-strapped tops and thin-strapped tops. The coil in this picture is a circle taffy, but in this case it has been stretched a longer distance in the middle so that you can wear it over your shoulder. Both ends have a hoop for a drop charm and are finished with stainless steel endcaps.There are four coil shapes: circle and triangle, and square and rectangle, both with rounded corners. This is the shape if you look down from the top to the bottom of the coiled column. All shapes are also available as taffy. This is when the center part of the coil is stretched. On a regular coil, each revolution is evenly spaced, in a taffy style, the two middle revolutions are stretched over a distance of about 1 to 2 inches, depending on the width you choose. You can see examples of taffy coils in both the product listings here and in the downloadable ideabook.Coils are best worn on the skinniest of straps, such as a swimsuit top or camisole. If you like the look of scrunched material, the square and triangle give you a little extra room for fabric. These look great on simple tanks. If you have a strap that is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide and want to bind it to your bra strap, the flattened oval gives you the best results. We do not recommend the circle, triangle, or square coil at widths more than 3/4 inch wide because they protrude and become prone to catching on purse straps and seat belts. If at anytime your StrappyArt becomes misshapen beyond use, please send it back and we will happily reshape it. There is a nominal charge for this and it will depend upon the amount of time needed to correct the problem.
